About Oguta and Orashi river in Imo state

One of such wonders is hiding in  Nigeria , in Imo  state, within the rainforests of the  Niger-Delta . In Imo State, there are two angry rivers flow side-by-side without ever coming together, namely Oguta Lake and Orashi river. Water flows into it mainly from the Njaba river and to a lesser degree, the  Uju ,  Awbana  and  Urashi   rivers. It is two of these rivers that flow side-by-side, parallel to each other, without ever coming together. Oguta Lake is a lean finger lake formed by the damming of the lower Njaba river, it is the largest natural lake, it is popularly known as Ogbuide while Orashi is a river of the lower Niger River basin, and a tributary of Oguta Lake and they are both in Imo State, Southeastern Nigeria The Mystery behind Orashi and Ogbuide: 2 Igbo Rivers that cannot come together no matter how you try. Dubai Tourism offers conditional welcome to Airbnb Dubai Tourism and Airbnb have signed a memorandum of understanding to help promote responsible hosting and help grow and diversify tourism in the emirate. It follows the introduction of enhanced regulations last month that make obtaining a ‘holiday home’ license more streamlined for individual tenants and homeowners who want to rent their homes to guests. The deal will bolster collaboration between the two parties and help enhance and diversify the emirate’s holiday home sector, boosting competition through a safe and transparent holiday home segment.  Under the agreement, Airbnb will cooperate with Dubai Tourism on preventing breaches of the regulation by informing all host members of the Dubai Tourism regulations via its website and through email reminders of the rules. Federal Government of Nigeria's decision on tenament rate!

This will definitely come as a good news to hoteliers especially, as the Federal Government has suspended the payment of tenement fees. Hotels in Nigeria have been finding it difficult to meet up with their tax payment as a result of multi taxation. Currently, they are billed about 41 taxes of which some are duplicated. With this current development, the pressure on hotel owners will reduce. It was stated that the Legislators will look into the bill and decide how they can be harmonized. Hopefully the hotels will start breaking even when this decision comes through.
