Brexit effect on travllers

Image
What will Brexit mean for travellers? Today your pound will go 70 per cent further in Russia and Zambia than it did in 2013, giving you around £210 extra for every £500 exchanged. Meanwhile, in South Africa and Brazil you’ll get 35 per cent more value for the pound. Some short-haul destinations also offer more bang for your buck: Norway currently offers 22 per cent better value than it did in 2013, and both Sweden and Hungary offer 11 per cent more for the pound. It’s heartening news for British travellers, says Ian Strafford-Taylor, CEO of FairFX: "Picking destinations which offer favourable long-term rates mean that you’ll get more for your money and therefore much better value this summer."
