If you are a passenger travelling with Ethiopian Air from Nigeria for medicals, these are the rules for you to get on board.

1. Medical passenger must visit the approved medical hospital 72 0r 48hrs before travel date to get fit to fly certificate before purchasing tickets.
Designated hospitals are:
a) Abuja clinics
b) Dr Hassan Clinic
c) Primus Hospital
2. Return certificate to Ethiopian Air office for final clearance before ticket is purchased.
3)Medical passengers must see their physician a week before obtaining the fit to fly certificate.
4. Certificate can only be presented from Monday to Friday
9am - 4pm.
5. Certificate will not be accepted on Saturday and Sunday.
6. Passengers travelling for cardiac related cases must undergo ECG at most 48hrs before travel date.
7. Passengers with Forged medical certificate will not be flown.
8. Note: Ethiopian Airlines reserves the right not to airlift passengers with critical medical condition.

Trump lifts travel restriction related to covid

  Before President Trump exit from the White House he signed an executive order on Monday removing restrictions on air travel for most non US citizens and permanent residents  travelling from Brazil, United Kingdom, Ireland and Schengen states effective January 26. China and Iran were also included in the restriction but were not excluded from the executive order. Biden administration has said they would not lift the travel restriction. Stating on twitter Psaki said “with the pandemic worsening, and more contagious variants emerging around the world, this is not the time to be lifting restrictions on international travels” The easing of the travel restrictions was announced after the US centers for Disease Control and Prevention said the previous week that a negative covid-19 test is mandatory for all air travelers entering the US, and test must be done 72 hours before arrival into the US with PCR fit to fly certificate or document  to show recovery from covid-19. EgyptAir says plane carrying. 66 has disappeared from radar Associated Press MAGGIE MICHAEL   27 minutes ago CAIRO (AP) — An EgyptAir flight from Paris to Cairo with 66 passengers and crew on board disappeared from radar early Thursday morning, the airline said. EgyptAir Flight 804 was lost from radar at 2:45 a.m. local time when it was flying at 37,000 feet, the airline said. It said the Airbus A320 had vanished 10 miles (16 kilometers) after it entered Egyptian airspace.
