EMIRATES SKY CARGO HAS LAUNCHED A WEEKLY FREIGHT SERVICE TO THE FAR EAST    EMIRATE SKYCARGO FROM HONG KONG TO DUBAI VIA INDIA FROM JUNE 1, 2016 Emirates Sky Cargo is strengthening its footprint in the Far East and Indian subcontinent. It launched a weekly freighter service from Hong Kong to Dubai via India from June 1. This move is to tap into the increasing cargo movements between Hong Kong, the world's top cargo hub and Delhi, India's busiest cargo hub. Goods exported from Hong Kong to India include pharmaceutical raw materials, electronics and machinery. From Delhi, include leather goods, garments, pharmaceuticals and perishables.

            FOCUS ON CROSS RIVERS STATE CULTURE AND TOURISM Cross River State is a coastal state in South South Nigeria, named after the Cross River, which passes through the state. Located in the Niger Delta , Cross River State occupies 20,156 square kilometers. It shares boundaries with Benue State to the north, Ebonyi and Abia States to the west, to the east by Cameroon Republic and to the south by Akwa-Ibom and the Atlantic Ocean . The South-South State was created on May 27, 1967 from the former Eastern Region, Nigeria by the General Yakubu Gowon regime. Lufthansa to suspend flights to Venezuela Image copyright AFP Image caption Lufthansa says the demand for international flights to Venezuela has dropped The German airline, Lufthansa, has announced that it will suspend flights to Venezuela from 18 June due to economic difficulties in the country. The company also said currency controls in Venezuela made it impossible for airlines to convert their earnings into dollars and send the money abroad. Venezuela's economy has been hit hard by a sharp drop in the price of oil - the country's main source of income. Venezuela has high inflation and severe shortages of basic goods. In a statement, Lufthansa said that it "will be forced to suspend our service between Caracas and Frankfurt as of 18 June". It is inhabited predominantly by the Tiv and Idoma peoples, who speak the Tiv language and Idoma , respectively.
