New Covid protocols on Rwandair




1. All passengers should arrive at the airport 4 hours before the flight departure time to have enough time to go through the check-in process that now includes the Covid-19 protocols.


2. All intending passengers must fill the Passenger Locator Form (PLF) online and have a printout ready for check-in. Use the portal www.rbc.gov.rw to access the PLF.






3. As of 01 November 2020, RwandAir is providing free Travel Insurance to all passengers which is included in the ticket fare. A Travel Insurance certificate has been provided to you and must be filled out with the passengers’ details at the time of issuing their tickets and printed out as well.


NB: Handwritten certificates will not be accepted.


4. All passengers traveling to Uganda must apply for their visas online and obtain approval before departing Nigeria.




5. All passengers travelling to Kenya are to obtain e-visa before boarding an aircraft as no visas will be issued on arrival. They are to fill e-visa form online and get an auto response as confirmation even the visa free states. Use this portal www.evisa.go.ke to access the e-visa page.

a. Passport with valid visa(s) where applicable

b. Ticket (Itinerary)

c. Covid-19 Negative PCR report (except below age 5)

d. Passenger Locator Form (PLF)

e. Travel Insurance Certificate

f. Confirmation of booked & paid 2nd Covid-19 test at destination (if applicable)

g. Approval letter for entry visa to Uganda (if this is the final destination)

h. E-Visa to Kenya (if this is the final destination)
