George Airport is located at the heart of the Western Cape’s Garden Route; a fashionable holiday destination and home to many of South Africa’s most affluent residents.  It handles over 600,000 passengers a year, many of them tourists, but it's also a national distribution hub for cargo such as flowers, fish, oysters, herbs and ferns. George Airport is the first in Africa to be powered by solar energy. It is expected to harness 41% of its energy from the sun. The facility started with 3000 photovoltaic modules and will increase its capacity gradually to deliver 750kw power at full production.          I will say a big congratulations to the South Africa Government for this accomplishment.

About Oguta and Orashi river in Imo state

One of such wonders is hiding in  Nigeria , in Imo  state, within the rainforests of the  Niger-Delta . In Imo State, there are two angry rivers flow side-by-side without ever coming together, namely Oguta Lake and Orashi river. Water flows into it mainly from the Njaba river and to a lesser degree, the  Uju ,  Awbana  and  Urashi   rivers. Info The origin of the name Idoma remained a mystery but some believe that there was once a man called Idu Oma who is the father of all Idoma people.The Idoma people once lived as a community in Apa, a place north east of the present Idoma land located in what is now southern Adamawa and Nothern Taraba. Evidence showed that the Idoma people have lived around the Benue valley for more than 3,000 years. Another mysterious idomoid people known as Akpoto were noticed to be the earliest inhabitants of the region occupied today by Idoma, Tiv, Igala, Ebira and Basa.
