Hotel is an establishment providing accommodation, meals, and other services for travelers and tourists. It helps a great deal to have an idea of ones expectation when checking to a hotel. For a budget hotel also known as a one star hotel(1*) here are the services provided: 1. Small room 2. Its usually owned and managed by private individual (family business) 3. They have standard shower and toilet 4. Room size between 8m - 12m 5. Phone is provided 6. Breakfast is provided 7. Drinks are offered. So when next you book a budget hotel, don't expect too much! There had been reports quoting Mr Kola Olayinka, Country Manager British Airways, as saying that the “U.K. carrier is struggling to repatriate its share of the $575 million that Nigeria currently owe the airlines from tickets sold in Nigeria.” A statement from the airline, Sunday, denied the reports and indicated that Nigeria remains a strategic market for the airline and will continue to operate in Nigeria The statement in part reads thus “ Our attention has been called to reports in several newspapers Sunday that British Airways is considering an exit from Nigeria.” “British Airways has a long history in Nigeria, having begun operations in the country 80 years ago as Imperial Airways. “Nigeria remains a strategic market for BA and our operations locally are very strong. Jamaican  local producers to boost tourism Jamaica minister of tourism Edmund Bartlett is urging local manufacturers to boost local production to meet the growing demand of the island’s vibrant tourism sector. The minister issued the charge as he outlined the findings of the Tourism Linkages Network’s tourism demand study to members of the manufacturing industry at the Duke Street offices of the Jamaica Manufacturers Association.
