MOU between Nigeria and Britain

Nigeria and the United Kingdom (UK) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on immigration.

Robert Goodwill MP the leader of the UK delegation ,, stressed the importance of preventing immigration abuse by those who enter and leave the UK

There was a  review of the  bilateral agreement signed in 2005 between both countries on return of irregular immigrants, as well as regular migrants who had overstayed their visas.

DELTA AIR EXPANDS SCOTLAND FLIGHTS

   DELTA AIRLINE EXPANDS Two weeks after Delta Air Lines started service between Edinburgh and New York-JFK, the US airline has announced it will double its Scottish network in summer 2017 when it begins flying between Glasgow and the Big Apple. The service, which will begin on May 26th, 2017, will be the only non-stop fight between Glasgow and New York-JFK and will operate daily throughout the summer. From JFK, customers will have a choice of 60 same-day onward connections throughout the United States, including the popular cities of Los Angeles, Orlando and San Francisco.           The Ogbunike Cave The Ogbunike Caves are in Ogbunike , Anambra State, southeastern Nigeria. Located in a valley blanketed by tropical rain forest, the collection of caves has been in use over centuries by local people for whom it has particular spiritual significance. This spiritual significance is still apparent, as the “Ime Ogba” celebration is undertaken every year to commemorate the discovery of the caves.    Descending into the valley where the caves are located is a lengthy walkway made up of about 317 steps said to have been constructed by the Anambra State Government in the mid 90s.
