About Oguta and Orashi river in Imo state

One of such wonders is hiding in  Nigeria , in Imo  state, within the rainforests of the  Niger-Delta . In Imo State, there are two angry rivers flow side-by-side without ever coming together, namely Oguta Lake and Orashi river. Water flows into it mainly from the Njaba river and to a lesser degree, the  Uju ,  Awbana  and  Urashi   rivers. Info The origin of the name Idoma remained a mystery but some believe that there was once a man called Idu Oma who is the father of all Idoma people.The Idoma people once lived as a community in Apa, a place north east of the present Idoma land located in what is now southern Adamawa and Nothern Taraba. Evidence showed that the Idoma people have lived around the Benue valley for more than 3,000 years. Looking at the brand new clothes on the rack, I bet anyone will say its 100% clean but this might be wrong, following the research done by t he microbiological professor Philip Tierno of New York University, i n his research, Tierno found new garments with staphylococci, fecal matter, and the bacteria that causes strep throat. The risk of infection is small, but it remains a risk, especially if you have wounds on your skin. Nigeria finally resumes train............

Finally the long awaited train transport service between Abuja and Kaduna is officially opened today 26th day of July 2016 by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria His Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari. The light rail project was accomplished by the collaboration between the Nigerian and Chinese Governmet. The idea of the rail station was initiated by the Former president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Olusegun Obasanjo. It is expected that the service will take passengers from Abuja to Kaduna.
