The cause of flight delay and cancellations in Nigeria


Airline operators in Nigeria are going through a tough time now as there is scarcity of aviation fuel. It was gathered that various flights experience delays and cancellations.

The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority through its spokes person Mr Sam Adeogboye advised airline operators to cut down operations on flights to reduce the frustrations passengers are currently experiencing.

Marketers in the petroleum industry are having challenges because of the constraint in the purchase of foreign currency.

Passengers are pleading with the airline operator to update them, when there are changes to enable them plan their journeys.

We hope this issue gets resolved soon.

About Oguta and Orashi river in Imo state

One of such wonders is hiding in  Nigeria , in Imo  state, within the rainforests of the  Niger-Delta . In Imo State, there are two angry rivers flow side-by-side without ever coming together, namely Oguta Lake and Orashi river. Nigeria Airline suspends plans to stop flights

  The sudden hike is majorly caused by Russian invasion of Ukraine at the end of   February and has made it unsustainable for Nigerian Airlines as stated by AON (Airline Operators of Nigeria). Flights have resumed and airlines are currently Operating normally as negotiation is on going with the Federal Government. Abuja Airport however experienced some service disruption because of some passengers who expressed their anger because of delayed flights.

Bar Beach Lagos, Nigeria.

  Bar Beach was a very popular tourist site some Years back especially during festive seasons. These young stars shared their talent of rapping with me. It is on the Atlantic Ocean along Lagos shoreline. Bar Beach is situated at Victoria Island, Lagos State Nigeria.   A little history of the beach : It was actually a venue where armed robbers and Coup plotters were executed by firing squad in the 70’s. From the 80’s it started overflowing its banks, which resulted to flooding that led to loss of lives and properties.
