Imo is one of the 36 states of Nigeria and lies in the South East of Nigeria with Owerri as its capital and largest city. Located in the south-eastern region of Nigeria , it occupies the area between the lower River Niger and the upper and middle Imo River . Oguta Lake, Oguta Oguta Lake is the largest natural lake in Imo State and is supposed to have originated from a natural depression. The lake is of immense value to the people of Oguta, Orsu, Nkwesi and Awo. In the colonial era, the Oguta Lake was a port for the evacuation of palm products and the relics of the jetties used by the United African Company (U. A. C.) still exist today. During the civil war, the Oguta Lake was a marine base for the Biafran Navy. About ten cases of zika virus confirmed in Miami, so holiday makers are advised to be careful especially pregnant mothers. The authority issues warning to women who intend having babies and visited Miami of recent,   to hold on for about eight weeks and go for test before conception. What is zika? Zika is spread mostly by the bite of an infected Aedes species mosquito ( Ae. aegypti and Ae. albopictus ). These mosquitoes are aggressive daytime biters. They can also bite at night. ·   Zika can be passed from a pregnant woman to her fetus. What exactly is the economic importance of trains in Nigeria?

I had a chat with a senior friend today and he mentioned this about the introduction of train service in Nigeria. He said it will definitely have a positive effect on the economy. Some of the areas he highlighted were: 1. Safety 2. Time will be saved 3. Goods will move freely 4. The free movement of goods will bring down the cost of products 5. People can live in the neighboring states and work in the capital 7. Decongestion on our roads These are some of his thoughts. Kindly share your opinion

Marriage in Tiv land Tiv (sometimes pronounced as Tivi) is an ethno-linguistic group or nation in West Africa. They number approximately thirteen million two hundred thousand individuals in Nigeria and Cameroon. In Nigeria, most speakers are found in Benue, Nasarawa and Taraba .
