My flight had been delayed, my luggage had taken forever to arrive, and by the time I finally stepped out of the airport, exhaustion had completely taken over. All I wanted was to get to my hotel, take a shower, and forget the day had ever happened. I hailed a taxi and settled into the back seat. The driver was an older gentleman with a warm smile. As we pulled away from the airport, he noticed my frustration and asked, "Long day?" I nodded. "Very long," I replied. For a few minutes, we drove in silence. Then he pointed to the traffic ahead. "See that?" he said. I looked up. Cars stretched endlessly down the road. "We can sit here complaining about the traffic," he continued, "or we can enjoy the journey while we're in it.
