My thoughts on Tourism in Nigeria...




Nigeria is such a blessed country with great abundance in almost everything BUT because of the mindset, so much ignorance and wastage is the order of the day.
Every state in Nigeria has its unique features for tourism, and getting these sites to generate income requires just a little. But because of selfish desires these sites are allowed to rot away.

Nigerians every year take huge sum of money out side the country to see sites in other countries.
As a travel and tour consultant, I see what other countries are doing in their tourism sectors and it hurts so much that a country such as Nigeria will not take advantage of the beautiful opportunities.


I guess its high time we stop all the summits, seminars, communique and get to work.
In this industry you cannot afford to put a square peg in a round hole its a luxury.



I look forward to selling Nigerian tours.

Dubai Tourism offers conditional welcome to Airbnb Dubai Tourism and Airbnb have signed a memorandum of understanding to help promote responsible hosting and help grow and diversify tourism in the emirate. It follows the introduction of enhanced regulations last month that make obtaining a ‘holiday home’ license more streamlined for individual tenants and homeowners who want to rent their homes to guests. The deal will bolster collaboration between the two parties and help enhance and diversify the emirate’s holiday home sector, boosting competition through a safe and transparent holiday home segment.  Under the agreement, Airbnb will cooperate with Dubai Tourism on preventing breaches of the regulation by informing all host members of the Dubai Tourism regulations via its website and through email reminders of the rules. Planning a North Korea trip? Don't, says the State Dept Washington (CNN) - The State Department is urging any American thinking of a trip to reclusive North Korea to think again. And they're doing it in an unusually blunt and direct fashion. The agency usually issues travel warnings every six months on a variety of countries, but recent legislation now requires it to issue travel warnings about North Korea every 90 days. The department issued its first travel warning under the new law Friday and doubled down with a four-page statement that makes it clear that Americans travel to North Korea at their own peril. The State Department strongly urges U.S. citizens to avoid all travel to North Korea, the warning states, before going on to list all the ways it is possible to get into trouble, including "showing disrespect" to the country's current or former leaders, taking unauthorized photographs and shopping at stores not designated for foreigners. Current security situation in Turkey

What is the current security situation in Istanbul? Turkey was hit by another attack when a triple suicide bombing  took place at  Istanbul's  main international airport on Tuesday night, leaving 36 dead and as many as 150 injured in a suspected Isil attack.  The bombers detonated explosive vests in the arrivals hall of Ataturk airport, which is the third busiest in Europe.
