Nigeria finally resumes train............

RAIL TRACKS AT IDU STATION CONNECTING ABUJA-KADUNA RAIL PROJECT ON SUNDAY
Finally the long awaited train transport service between Abuja and Kaduna is officially opened today 26th day of July 2016 by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria His Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari.

The light rail project was accomplished by the collaboration between the Nigerian and Chinese Governmet.

The idea of the rail station was initiated by the Former president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Olusegun Obasanjo.
It is expected that the service will take passengers from Abuja to Kaduna.

It launched a weekly freighter service from Hong Kong to Dubai via India from June 1. This move is to tap into the increasing cargo movements between Hong Kong, the world's top cargo hub and Delhi, India's busiest cargo hub.
