Heathrow is having a new plan for the airport.


A total of 35.7 million passengers used Heathrow in first six months of 2016, up 0.6 per cent from the same period of last year.

At the same time, cargo volumes increased 1.7 per cent.

Strong financial performance was also recorded at the airport, with revenue up one per cent to £1,320 million and Adjusted EBITDA up 4.4 per cent to £781 million.

 “Now Britain needs a positive post-Brexit plan and only Heathrow expansion will help Britain to be one of the world’s leading trading nations – connecting all of Britain to global growth,” added Holland-Kaye.

“Heathrow has a new plan for expansion, allowing the prime minister to make the right choice in the national interest.”

George Airport is located at the heart of the Western Cape’s Garden Route; a fashionable holiday destination and home to many of South Africa’s most affluent residents.  It handles over 600,000 passengers a year, many of them tourists, but it's also a national distribution hub for cargo such as flowers, fish, oysters, herbs and ferns. George Airport is the first in Africa to be powered by solar energy. It is expected to harness 41% of its energy from the sun. Debris found in search for missing Egypt Air MS804 The Egyptian military has located debris from crashed EgyptAir flight MS804 in the Mediterranean. Military units from Greece, France, Egypt and the UK have been scouring the Mediterranean near the Greek island of Karpathos following the disappearance of the flight yesterday. The Airbus 320 had been en route from Paris to Cairo with 66 passengers and crew on board. French President Francois Hollande said the plane likely crashed on route to the Egyptian capital. Greece defence minister Panos Kammenos added it appeared the plane made two sharp turns before plunging into the Mediterranean Sea.
