Heathrow is having a new plan for the airport.


A total of 35.7 million passengers used Heathrow in first six months of 2016, up 0.6 per cent from the same period of last year.

At the same time, cargo volumes increased 1.7 per cent.

Strong financial performance was also recorded at the airport, with revenue up one per cent to £1,320 million and Adjusted EBITDA up 4.4 per cent to £781 million.

 “Now Britain needs a positive post-Brexit plan and only Heathrow expansion will help Britain to be one of the world’s leading trading nations – connecting all of Britain to global growth,” added Holland-Kaye.

“Heathrow has a new plan for expansion, allowing the prime minister to make the right choice in the national interest.”

It follows the introduction of enhanced regulations last month that make obtaining a ‘holiday home’ license more streamlined for individual tenants and homeowners who want to rent their homes to guests. Planning a North Korea trip? Don't, says the State Dept Washington (CNN) - The State Department is urging any American thinking of a trip to reclusive North Korea to think again. And they're doing it in an unusually blunt and direct fashion. The agency usually issues travel warnings every six months on a variety of countries, but recent legislation now requires it to issue travel warnings about North Korea every 90 days. The department issued its first travel warning under the new law Friday and doubled down with a four-page statement that makes it clear that Americans travel to North Korea at their own peril.
