Imo is one of the 36 states of Nigeria and lies in the South East of Nigeria with Owerri as its capital and largest city. Located in the south-eastern region of Nigeria , it occupies the area between the lower River Niger and the upper and middle Imo River . Oguta Lake, Oguta Oguta Lake is the largest natural lake in Imo State and is supposed to have originated from a natural depression. The lake is of immense value to the people of Oguta, Orsu, Nkwesi and Awo. Abuja Airport closure

Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport will be shut down from 8th March to April 2017. All international flights will be routed through Murtala Muhammed International Airport Lagos. New Covid protocols on Rwandair

1. All passengers should arrive at the airport 4 hours before the flight departure time to have enough time to go through the check-in process that now includes the Covid-19 protocols. 2. All intending passengers must fill the Passenger Locator Form (PLF) online and have a printout ready for check-in. Use the portal  www.rbc.gov.rw  to access the PLF. 3. As of 01 November 2020, RwandAir is providing free Travel Insurance to all passengers which is included in the ticket fare. A Travel Insurance certificate has been provided to you and must be filled out with the passengers’ details at the time of issuing their tickets and printed out as well. NB: Handwritten certificates will not be accepted. 4. All passengers traveling to Uganda must apply for their visas online and obtain approval before departing Nigeria. 5. Trump lifts travel restriction related to covid

  Before President Trump exit from the White House he signed an executive order on Monday removing restrictions on air travel for most non US citizens and permanent residents  travelling from Brazil, United Kingdom, Ireland and Schengen states effective January 26. China and Iran were also included in the restriction but were not excluded from the executive order. Biden administration has said they would not lift the travel restriction. Stating on twitter Psaki said “with the pandemic worsening, and more contagious variants emerging around the world, this is not the time to be lifting restrictions on international travels” The easing of the travel restrictions was announced after the US centers for Disease Control and Prevention said the previous week that a negative covid-19 test is mandatory for all air travelers entering the US, and test must be done 72 hours before arrival into the US with PCR fit to fly certificate or document  to show recovery from covid-19.
