China to open cultural center in Senegal

                        Chinese Cultural Expansion








Representing the two governments, Chinese ambassador to Senegal Xia Huang and Senegal Foreign Minister Mankeur Ndiaye signed a memorandum of understanding on the establishment of China Cultural Center in Dakar on Dec 30, 2014.

According to a memorandum of understanding signed between China and Senegal, a China Cultural Center will be set up in Dakar, the capital city of Senegal.
According to Xia Huang, Chinese ambassador to Senegal, the establishment of the center seeks to “maintain cultural diversity.” He said the center will be a good place for dialogues between different cultures.
Senegal Foreign Minister Mankeur Ndiaye believes the China Cultural Center will help the people of Senegal to know more about China and will also promote the development of local culture.
China has established five cultural centers in Africa, in Mauritius, Benin, Tanzania, Nigeria and Egypt.

About Oguta and Orashi river in Imo state

One of such wonders is hiding in  Nigeria , in Imo  state, within the rainforests of the  Niger-Delta . Debris found in search for missing Egypt Air MS804 The Egyptian military has located debris from crashed EgyptAir flight MS804 in the Mediterranean. Military units from Greece, France, Egypt and the UK have been scouring the Mediterranean near the Greek island of Karpathos following the disappearance of the flight yesterday. George Airport is located at the heart of the Western Cape’s Garden Route; a fashionable holiday destination and home to many of South Africa’s most affluent residents.  It handles over 600,000 passengers a year, many of them tourists, but it's also a national distribution hub for cargo such as flowers, fish, oysters, herbs and ferns. George Airport is the first in Africa to be powered by solar energy. It is expected to harness 41% of its energy from the sun. The facility started with 3000 photovoltaic modules and will increase its capacity gradually to deliver 750kw power at full production.          I will say a big congratulations to the South Africa Government for this accomplishment.

DELTA AIR EXPANDS SCOTLAND FLIGHTS

   DELTA AIRLINE EXPANDS Two weeks after Delta Air Lines started service between Edinburgh and New York-JFK, the US airline has announced it will double its Scottish network in summer 2017 when it begins flying between Glasgow and the Big Apple. The service, which will begin on May 26th, 2017, will be the only non-stop fight between Glasgow and New York-JFK and will operate daily throughout the summer. From JFK, customers will have a choice of 60 same-day onward connections throughout the United States, including the popular cities of Los Angeles, Orlando and San Francisco.
