Nigeria to sign visa-free pact with 8 countries

The minister of foreign Affairs Mr Geoffrey Onyeama yesterday said the federal government is planning to sign visa-free pacts with a bloc of eight African countries to promote economic partnership.
The minister did not disclose the countries but expressed concern that trade among African countries had been very low.
He said the new initiative would ease movement of people and goods across the continent and equally boost intra African trade.
"What we are trying to do at the ministry is try to promote visa-free movement of business people...we want to start with about eight countries. And we believe that if we can achieve that within a year, then other countries may want to join". He said.

   DELTA AIRLINE EXPANDS Two weeks after Delta Air Lines started service between Edinburgh and New York-JFK, the US airline has announced it will double its Scottish network in summer 2017 when it begins flying between Glasgow and the Big Apple. The service, which will begin on May 26th, 2017, will be the only non-stop fight between Glasgow and New York-JFK and will operate daily throughout the summer. About Oguta and Orashi river in Imo state

One of such wonders is hiding in  Nigeria , in Imo  state, within the rainforests of the  Niger-Delta . In Imo State, there are two angry rivers flow side-by-side without ever coming together, namely Oguta Lake and Orashi river. Water flows into it mainly from the Njaba river and to a lesser degree, the  Uju ,  Awbana  and  Urashi   rivers. It is two of these rivers that flow side-by-side, parallel to each other, without ever coming together.
