AVIATION STAKEHOLDERS MEETING IN ABUJA TODAY

The aviation stakeholders meeting held today may 16th 2016, was to make input into governments plan and progress.
The Minister of State, Aviation, Sen. Hadi Sirika, says the Federal Government will concession the Abuja, Lagos, Port Harcourt and Kano international airports in the first phase of its concession programme. (Leadership)
“We are developing a new security strategy in partnership with
international security organisations and procurement of modern
equipments.’’ (NAN)

He stated that the Federal government will set up aviation development bank and aviation schools.

About Oguta and Orashi river in Imo state

One of such wonders is hiding in  Nigeria , in Imo  state, within the rainforests of the  Niger-Delta . In Imo State, there are two angry rivers flow side-by-side without ever coming together, namely Oguta Lake and Orashi river. Water flows into it mainly from the Njaba river and to a lesser degree, the  Uju ,  Awbana  and  Urashi   rivers. Reopening of Abuja international Airport.

The Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja, Nigeria that was closed due to repair of the run way for six weeks has been declared opened for flights. The Federal Government commended the support of the leading African Airline Ethiopian Air for their great support all through the period as they were the only international Airline that flew from the alternative airport that was available, located in Kaduna. Interestingly, the airline was also the first to land at the airport in Abuja after it was cleared for operations, and the pilot commended the work done and said it was world class. Nigerians really appreciate the Ethiopian Government for their great support!

Planning a North Korea trip? Don't, says the State Dept Washington (CNN) - The State Department is urging any American thinking of a trip to reclusive North Korea to think again. And they're doing it in an unusually blunt and direct fashion. The agency usually issues travel warnings every six months on a variety of countries, but recent legislation now requires it to issue travel warnings about North Korea every 90 days. The department issued its first travel warning under the new law Friday and doubled down with a four-page statement that makes it clear that Americans travel to North Korea at their own peril.
